The Gibson Les Paul Signature 2014 celebrates Gibson's 120th Anniversary. It features a mahogany body with modern weight relief and a figured maple top. The mahogany neck has a comfortable '50s rounded profile, which is not too fat, just slightly fatter than a 60's Slim Taper. The bound rosewood fingerboard has undercut frets over the binding for extra playing surface and features a 120th Anniversary banner at the 12th fret to celebrate the anniversary.
Electronics include a set of open coil 57 Classic humbucker pickups with push/pull coil-splitting on each volume pot, a 15 db Turbo boost mini-toggle and a master tone pot with Orange drop capacitors, for a classic vintage tone. Other key features include max grip speed knobs, the Min-ETune system (REPLACED), Graph Tech nut and chrome tune-o-matic bridge.
